Patients who have their pregnancy confirmed can self-refer midwives by calling 0131 536 2009. The clinic is moving to Lauriston Buildings on 03/04/23. A leaflet giving more information on ante/post-natal care is available from reception.
Health Visitors
The health visitors for the practice are based at Conan Doyle Medical Centre. They give advice on health care, particularly for pregnant mothers and young children. They are also responsible for childhood immunisations. The best time to contact the health visitor is between 8.30 and 10.00 a.m. weekdays on telephone number 666 5171. You may leave a message on their answering machine.
